How to Install | MicroCreativity Hub

Important — Read Before Installing

Do not delete, move, or rename the unzipped extension folder in 'Document' folder.
Chrome runs the extension directly from the folder on your computer. If you modify or remove it, the extension will stop working and you will need to reinstall.

Step 01

Download & Unzip

Get the latest installer package and extract it to your Documents folder.

1 Download the MicroCreativity_Hub_v1.x.x.zip using the button below.
2 Unzip the file. On Mac, double-click it. On Windows, right-click → "Extract All".

Step 02

[Auto Install] Run the Helper Script

Optional but recommended. Check Manual Install if the install file doesn't work.

macOS

MacOS_install.command

1 Double-click MacOS_install.command
2 If blocked by macOS: Install manually

Windows

Windows_install.bat

1 Double-click Windows_install.bat
2 If prompted by Windows Defender, click "Run Anyway" install manually if it doesn't work, .

The script will open Chrome to chrome://extensions and highlight the extension folder. If it doesn't open the page, copy and paste it to the address bar.
You may expect terminal window pops up. Close it when it finishes.

Step 03

[Manual Install] Organize Files

Alternative to the auto-install script.

1 Open the unzipped MicroCreativity_Hub_v1.x.x folder.
2 Find the folder named "extension" inside.
3 Move this "extension" folder to your Documents folder.
4 Rename the folder in Documents from extension to "MicroCreativity".

Step 04

Load into Chrome

Load the extension directly into your browser via Developer Mode.

1 Open Chrome and go to chrome://extensions in the address bar.
2 Enable Developer Mode using the toggle at the top-right corner of the page.
3 Open your Documents folder and locate the MicroCreativity folder.
4 Click 'Load unpacked' (Mac/Windows) and select 'MicroCreativity' folder. The extension will appear instantly.

Step 05

Log in and Start

Access on any website at all times.

1 Now you can access 'MicroCreativity Hub' at anytime!
Find Puzzle Piece icon in your Chrome toolbar (top-right, next to the address bar).
2 Click MicroCreativity Hub in the dropdown list.
3 You can look around as a GUEST, or Login to unlock full features.
Initial run may take some time. (~30sec)
4 You can login at Settings - Login with the email you used for the purchase.

Troubleshooting

Most issues are resolved in under a minute.

The install script doesn't work / nothing happened +

Skip the script and manually install it. Open chrome://extensions, turn on Developer Mode, then select the MicroCreativity folder in Documents folder with 'Load Unpacked'.

Extension disappeared after a Chrome restart +

The extension folder was likely moved, renamed, or deleted. Chrome requires the folder to remain in the exact same location. Re-download, unzip to Documents, and reload the extension.

I can't open extension +

Please refresh your browser after install or update the extension. And please note that opening extension from chrome://extensions page or Google homepage doesn't work. Try to open it on other AI tool pages.

I can't log in / I see "This email is not registered" +

You cannot sign up in the extension. Only sign in is allowed. If you purchased a license, check your email address is the same as the one you used for the purchase. We use OTP to login. Check your spam folder if you don't see the email.
